On a group I belong to the challenge was to try a new techinque. I think I've tried just about everything my supplies cover...except the spotlight technique. It's where you only color one portion of an image and it's raised. Honestly, I've never ever liked this technique and I'm not any bigger of a fan after doing it. I guess I shouldn't have added the ribbon or the Pearl Ex to the colored part as it took away the bold black, but...what is done is done and I'm SO done with that technique! LOL

great job Holly, spotlighting has never been a favorite of mine either. But I like this one because you did the spotlight layer in a shape. Very nice!

This is a technique I keep meaning to try too. I love this card, it's beautiful, so I may just have to give it a go!
