After doing the DCM cards below, I kept eyeing up all the packaging around the house that was on it's way to the recycle bin. At first I said, no. I can't use that on a card. Then I though, oh, why not! LOL
If it's not familiar, it's a Tampax box top. The word super was already there.
This week's dare at DCM is "Tagged"..."Everything we buy has packaging, some of it excessive, some of it beautifully designed. Tags, labels, stickers... all sorts of bits and bobs that we can recycle onto cards."
I took TWO stabs at this one...And yes, it's all from chocolate LOL!
The larger circle is the little wrapper that goes under a Ferrero Rocher chocolate. I ironed it flat-ish. It's all red, brown, & matte gold. The writing just looks black/blue because it's blurry in the scan.
The heart is punched out of a Hershey's Hug foil wrapper and the "HUGS" is, of course, it's pull tab.
This is a sketch for Poetic Artistry bingo and also for an ink-stains dot challenge. The scanner cut off some the left side of the card, but I'm too lazy to rescan. lol
Perhaps I'm twisted, but I am really enjoying this humor challenge. I'm not sure I smile much when creating a card, but these I sure did! lol Great challenge!
I finally got Kim's card out & she got it (late) so now I can post this sweetie. It's totally a vintage photo with one HA stamp on it. I just fell in love with this photo in it's entirety (sp?)
