Be thankful every day
This is the sweetest, little, vintage photo and I just had to use it. The background has a stamps by A La Art, Eureka, and Magenta.

DCM - Working 9-5
This week's dare at DCM is "Working 9-5" and we had to use something used in an office! I used a paperclip, lined paper and a brad.

Those who resist...
Another image I just fell in love with and had to play with. No stamping here, just having fun playing with photos.

The Little Prince
I've come across some, and Kim sent me some, sweet vintage pics of children. I've never much played with them until now, but I'm really enjoying them. Be prepared for lots of vintage photo cards!

Amies - Friends
The girls are a Stampsmith photo stamp that I cut out. Cuties! Autumn leaves swirls and I stenciled the heart and outlined it. The tag in the upper right - don't want to talk about it. lol It's stuck, so it stays.

Believe
Just using up the last of the wax paper resist I had made. I put a bit of ink and copper metallic rub-ons on the torn tag just to go with the brad and copper shimmer layer underneath.

New techinque to me
On a group I belong to the challenge was to try a new techinque. I think I've tried just about everything my supplies cover...except the spotlight technique. It's where you only color one portion of an image and it's raised. Honestly, I've never ever liked this technique and I'm not any bigger of a fan after doing it. I guess I shouldn't have added the ribbon or the Pearl Ex to the colored part as it took away the bold black, but...what is done is done and I'm SO done with that technique! LOL

Acrylics
I haven't played with acrylics in ages, so I got to playing and making backgrounds. This one I scored some lines and also overstamped with a big fern *that you really can't see much) just to add some character. Not too pleased, but hopefully it's like riding a bike.

Rhythm of your life
I just love Stampsmith photo stamps! Estelle is such a sweetie too!
Just so you all know, Elvis was going to marry me, but he died when I was 11, so he just didn't get the chance. LOL

DCM Dare - Wings
This week's dare at DCM is WINGS!
Since I have more stamps with wings than I know what to do with, I chose stamps I haven't used in a year or more ago. The image is by Stamp Camp. I also haven't played with wire for a long time so I twisted up some thin black to go with the sentiment. (sentiment by unknown)
This one, the fairies are Enchanted Ink, I believe, and the sentiment is Stamp Camp. The fairies are colored with Radiant Pearls, but not visible in a scan or photo, so you can't see the shimmer. Oh well, *I* see it. lol

DCM - little extra - Beautiful
The DCM little extra was the word beautiful. I really wanted to use a different quote, but was too lazy to print it out and I had this stamp on hand. I do love this sentiment too. I'm a bit late here, so I'd better go check out the new dare....
